You can donate to Beyond the Bases anytime by dropping your gear at Oak Hill Youth Sports Association. Look for the blue bins next to the "Got Gear?" sign behind the Pony Field. We ask that you please do not put trash in the Blue Bins! Thank you.

Where Dreams Come True

Beyond the Bases is a non-profit (501c3) organization with the objective of providing equipment and funds to kids who cannot afford to participate in youth sports.  New and gently used equipment is collected at various youth baseball leagues around Austin, TX. This equipment is cleaned, fixed, and distributed to kids in need.

To date, Beyond the Bases has provided equipment to over 1000 kids and has raised nearly $30,000 to pay for kids to play baseball and softball.

Want to play ball for a chance at tickets to the 2018 MLB All-Star Game?Well bring out your bat, your arm and your speed to Mustang 2 after the Oak Hill Opening Day Ceremonies! We will be hosting our 7th annual Pitch, Hit and Run competition on March 24 from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Mustang II Field at Oak Hill Youth Sports Association!

Pitch, Hit, and Run is a free one day event for boys and girls ages 7 to 14. It is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball, giving kids the opportunity to show off their baseball and softball skills at the local, regional, and potentially national level at the 2018 MLB All-Star Game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.!

Beyond the Bases is proud of our past success with Pitch, Hit and Run! Over the past 7 years several kids from our local competition have advanced to the Team Championship at Minute Maid Park in Houston, including Abbey Smith, who WON the national competition at the 2017 All-Star Game in Miami! Over 625,000 kids from ages 7-14 participate at over 1,000 Pitch, Hit & Run local competitions attempting to advance through the local, sectional, and team championships to make it to the All-Star Game. Abbey is one of just 24 kids to make it to the big stage. We have been one of the most successful local competitions in the country, and we hope to repeat that success this year!
